TRC Pay-It-Forward
The Rugby Club survives to serve the community of the game of rugby. No other way describes this mission than the call to action of The Rugby Club for all its members to live by the club’s ethos that aims to Pay-It-Forward whenever possible.
Various avenues exist within The Rugby Club to Pay-It-Forward. These include informal ways (often best represented by sharing, caring and encouraging others), through to the formal projects that The Rugby Club Aligns to. The Rugby Club has developed a strong social media and digital framework to enable all sorts of actions for members (and non-members alike) to share in the ethos of the club and help others enjoy the game and the fruits of the game. Alongside these tools, The Rugby Club has also partnered with particular projects and NGOs to help a number of causes within the game of Rugby on a global scale.
CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy)
The primary project that is supported by The Rugby Club is to support global efforts to communicate the risks and dangers of CTE in Rugby, and also to champion the work of bodies that are trying to find ways to reduce (and hopefully eradicate) CTE within the game of rugby.

Tickets To Games
Where possible, The Rugby Club will work to share access to rugby matches by sourcing tickets and sharing their availability on its social media channels. This is a great way to share the game and give back to newcomers and youngsters who dream of playing in stadiums one day.
Billeting and Hosting Touring Parties
Offering lodging, sharing meals, a pint, giving of lifts or simply giving advice to fellow rugby people forms the backbone of the community of The Rugby Club. This call to action from the club goes out to all members as they will be the driving force that reaches out a hand to help a fellow rugbian. By using the network of The Rugby Club and accessing the various forms of social media, acts of goodwill within the context of this format of paying-it-forward seeks to go a long way in growing The Rugby Club.
Rugby Gear Donations
There are so many players. schools and clubs in need of either equipment, jerseys, boots or balls. Let’s make a difference! By sharing new or used rugby goods with those less fortunate, we can all make a difference. Share your goodwill and encourage others to do the same!
