Established 1823: The Rugby Club is the worldwide community of people who, by joining The Rugby Club, are the custodians of Rugby’s Legacy, its Values and its Future.

LEGACY

Ever since 1823 when William Webb Ellis first ran with the ball, the people who have played and supported Rugby have always found a common bond within the sport. By recording, sharing and giving value to all the memories of the game, The Rugby Club is a place holder of the game’s history for everyone in the sport.

VALUES

Our mission is to take the values of camaraderie, sportsmanship, community, hard work and humility that form the backbone of this great game, and use our network of people, clubs, schools, unions, brands, retailers, professionals, supporters and technology to ensure that our societies and communities can thrive. We seek to represent and champion the cause and methodology of the “Pay-It-Forward” approach to supporting those around us.

FUTURE

By growing The Rugby Club, its members form part of the biggest movement to grow Rugby. Sharing the Legacy and Values of Rugby throughout the network of The Rugby Club will ensure that future members keep the game’s legacy and values alive and help to ensure the game keeps growing.

The club is made up of two pillars:
1. The Non-Profit Club made up of the membership fees and fund raising
2. The Commercial Division made up of profit generating IP, products and services
The Rugby Cub offers its members:
• A Unique Membership Number and annual TRC Collectable Stickers
• Bespoke products, merchandise and experiences
• The Rugby Club Vault (record, store and monetize memorabilia and collectables)
